I AM ABOUT TO BE A HOME OWNER!

No really, my dad is giving me one of his trailers. It's paid off and he's going to get it put into my name. It will be MY home. :D And I'll bring Munch and foster a million animals and and and. I'm SO excited.

Brian and I are trying to look for a new place. We have been living in his parent's old home and pretty much paying the house payment...but the stupid company just sent the monthly payment up by $500 more a month!! Sooooo...time for a new place, cause now the house payment is more than I even make in a month. X_x

You have no idea how bittersweet this was though. Friday night I adopted out a kitten I had hand raised and fostered since she was 2 days old. And she had health problems so she was my baby, and I made her better, so we were both REALLY attached to each other. But I was going to live with my mom and she wouldn't let me bring Sister. Well... that was Friday and Saturday was when I found out about this. I was heartbroken that I had just given my baby away when I didn't need to.

BUT I worked up a bit of courage and called the folks that adopted her, and offered to get them a different kitten from a friend of mine that is also fostering a litter. So they are going to let me have my baby back! They were so happy to do it too, they knew how sad I was to let her go! Oooooh I can't wait till tomorrow!

Awwww...well I'm glad that you are getting your kitty back!! I know that I would be heartbroken if I ever had to part with one of my kitties. I've raised most of them since about 4 weeks of age and would hate to part with them. They bring me so much comfort, even more so on the days and nights when Brian is not home. (This house can be scary at times!!)

Hey, that is awesome Ducky! Well done! Emma and I are not buying a home until we move back to Minnesota in the near future. We're waiting for legalisation of same-sex marriages throughout the country before we come home. But it'll be soon. And then we'll bring our dogs and our lives and own our own little home :D !
